Wardington Memorial Hall will host its Centenary Fete on Saturday 30 May 2026, and this year’s event promises to be one of the most memorable in the village’s history. Alongside all the traditional attractions, the fete will feature a flypast by the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Dakota DC3 and a special appearance by the world‑famous Red Arrows, both expected later in the afternoon.

Held on the cricket field behind the Hall, the fete runs from 12 noon to 4 pm and offers a full afternoon of entertainment for all ages. Visitors can enjoy live music from Hook Norton Brass Band and Banbury Rock Choir, a produce show, classic cars, children’s races and games, bouncy castles, a Shaggy Dog Show, and traditional fairground games. Food and drink will be available throughout the day, including BBQ, Pimm’s, homemade cakes, tea, coffee, and ice cream.

The Produce Show entry deadline has now been extended to midnight on Thursday, giving villagers a little extra time to take part. Whether it’s home‑grown vegetables, flowers, baking, crafts or preserves, organisers are encouraging as many residents as possible to enter. The Produce Show is a much‑loved part of the fete, and every entry helps make the display vibrant, varied, and a true celebration of village talent.

Entry to the fete is free, and all funds raised will support Dementia Active, Banbury Young Homeless Project, and Wardington Memorial Hall.
