The Community Led Plan (CLP) Steering Committee would like to thank all those that took part in the fact finding activities at the Jubilee tea and are delighted to announce that the winner of the ’Put your House on the Map Raffle’ was 79 years young Wendy Watts, who has been a resident in the village for many years and was very keen to share her views and ideas with the Steering Committee on the future development of Wardington.
The CLP will be organising a number of events and activities over the forth coming months designed to identify and understand the key issues that are important to our community including a questionnaire, which is central to producing an effective and actionable Community Led Plan. The questionnaire will be delivered to all households in the Community and will give everyone the chance to express their views and ideas on what is important to them with regard to the village and the option to suggest and comment on ideas and activities that will shape the future development of Wardington.
A Community Led Plan provides the opportunity for the village community to communicate what is important to them and what changes and developments they would like to see within their community.
The Plan will help to set out a vision of how our community wants to develop and will identify the actions that are required to make this vision happen. It will also enable local people to work together to solve local issues, if you would like to find out more about the CLP or volunteer to participate or lead activities identified in the plan then please contact:
