Ian Jones, Paramedic / Community Defibrillation Officer , South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, is giving us an opportunity to access free Basic Life Support training and training to use the village defibrillator. This is being arranged by Chipping Warden & Edgcote WI.
He will be running two sessions of about 1 & 1/2 hours on Saturday 13th January. The first session is 10 am followed (if we get a good enough response) by an afternoon session at 2 pm. He can accommodate 20 people in each session.
Doctors and nurses update their skills every year so even if you attended previous sessions come along- Ian is giving up his time at a weekend so lets give him an enthusiastic response!
Anyone interested please contact Kathleen on 01295 660441 or email Gerry on geraldinekearse@yahoo.co.uk who will provide further details.
