Final call for the Wine Tasting this Saturday 11th

Ticket sales close tomorrow, Thursday 9th March, for this Saturday's "Call My Wine Bluff". This is a great fun evening and everyone is heartily encouraged to come and join in! You will taste six different wines and three "bluffers" will try to persuade you that they are describing what you are drinking. Cast your vote for the bluffer you believe and the winning team wins more wine! Follow up the tasting with a delicious supper of Cottage Pie made by the Friends of St. Mary Magdalene. 7.00pm for 7.30pm start Presented and supported by SH Jones Buy the wines you taste on the night at a discounted price – stock up your cellar & support your church at the same time

Curry evening – Hare & Hounds, Sat. 11th March

Authentic Traditional Indian Curry Evening at the Hare and Hounds, Saturday the 11th of March. Classical Indian Chef, Jags Sanghera, takes over the kitchen at the Hare and Hounds this Saturday to bring you his Authentic Traditional Indian Curry! Jags will be preparing a spectacular dish using his family's secret recipe and blend of spices. Food will be served from 7.00 PM with limited spaces available.

The Plough

The Phoenix Pub 2016 Limited Company has been set-up by a group of Wardington residents on behalf of the community, in compliance with the requirements of the Assets of Community Value (England) Regulations 2012, to investigate the feasibility of preparing a business case to potentially acquire the Plough Public House. Residents are welcome to come forward if they have an interest in securing the future of a pub for Upper Wardington and we will ensure you are kept up to date with the latest progress. Visit to Parliament – May 8th 2017

We are delighted to announce that we have been offered a tour of the Houses of Parliament on Monday 8th May 2017, thanks to Victoria Prentis MP. The tour is for up to 25 people and tickets will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. We will most likely book a mini-bus or small coach to take us there and back, the cost of which will be divided equally among those attending.
