Wardington Memorial Hall will host its Centenary Fete on Saturday 30 May 2026, and this year’s event promises to be one of the most memorable in the village’s history. Alongside all the traditional attractions, the fete will feature a flypast by the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Dakota DC3 and a special appearance by the world‑famous Red Arrows, both expected later in the afternoon. Held on the cricket field behind the Hall, the fete runs from 12 noon to 4 pm and offers a full afternoon of entertainment for all ages. Visitors can enjoy live music from Hook Norton Brass Band and Banbury Rock Choir, a produce show, classic cars, children’s races and games, bouncy castles, a Shaggy Dog

On the 1st of June, our village came alive with the vibrant and joyous atmosphere of our Village Fete and Evening Celebration. The event was a resounding success, bringing together community members of all ages for a day filled with fun, laughter, and camaraderie. The fete featured a delightful array of activities that catered to everyone’s tastes. Stalls lined the village cricket field, offering a variety of goods and treats and activities. The air was filled with the sweet melodies of live music, creating a festive ambiance. Families enjoyed the bouncy castles, while others indulged in delicious tea and cake or participated in games or races.
