A reminder that there will be carol singing from 6 to 6.45pm on Thursday 19th December in Upper Wardington on the Old Pool green. The Friends of St. Mary Magdalene will be providing hot sausage rolls, mince pies and mulled wine with hot chocolate for the children. There will be a brass band and the Wardington Hand Bell ringers will once again come to entertain us. Song sheets will be provided - please bring yourself, your family and friends and a torch! We will be collecting for the Friends of St. Mary Magdalene whose aim is to raise money for both special projects and the daily upkeep of our wonderful Grade I listed church. The Friends of St. Mary Magdalene, Wardington, are pleased to announce that we will once again be staging our festive sing song In Upper Wardington on the Old Pool Green on Thursday 19th December 2013 6.00pm – 6.45pm Carols around the brazier Mulled wine, mince pies and hot sausage rolls. We will be accompanied by a brass ensemble and song sheets of well-known carols will be available. The Wardington Hand Bell Ringers will also be playing for us. Please bring along a torch and join us in celebrating the festive season. We will be collecting money for the Friends of St Mary Magdalene to help look after our beautiful church.
