Wardington Village Cinema to screen “The Imitation Game” on Friday 20th March

Wardingon Village Cinema will be screening "The Imitation game"  at the Memorial Hall on Friday 20th March.  Doors open at 7.30 film starts at 8pm. THE IMITATION GAME is a gripping, acclaimed thriller that tells the incredible true story of unsung war hero Alan Turing, the British mathematician responsible for cracking the German Enigma code during World War II. Bowls Club Update

On 6th April 2014 Wardington Village Bowls Club held the Annual Short Mat Bowls Presentation Tournament, the finale of a fantastic 2013/2014 season and a day of social but competitive bowling.  Representatives from the leagues six local village teams put forward players to take part in the end of season bowling event, fighting it out for honour and wine prizes.  The event was kindly sponsored by Phillips Autos of Banbury.   Moreton Pinkney receive the league cup from Wardington Club President Lady Wardington. A highlight of the day was Lady Wardington (President of Wardington Bowls Club) presenting the 2013/14 Season League Cup to this year’s winners Morton Pinkney, who won one of the closest fought seasons in many years.  Runners up

Neal’s Yard demo at Wardington Waddlers Toddler Group

Please join us on Thursday 27th March at the Wardington Waddlers Toddler Group for an introduction to organic health and beauty products from Neal's Yard. Emily Roberts, a Neal's Yard Independent Consultant, will be hosting the event. She can answer your questions and demonstrate the award winning products. Feel free to drop in even if you don't normally attend the group, you don't need a toddler to get in! We will be providing refreshments as usual, £2 donation requested. Wardington Village Cinema – Philomena – Saturday 5th April
