Bowls Club Update

On 6th April 2014 Wardington Village Bowls Club held the Annual Short Mat Bowls Presentation Tournament, the finale of a fantastic 2013/2014 season and a day of social but competitive bowling. Representatives from the leagues six local village teams put forward players to take part in the end of season bowling event, fighting it out for honour and wine prizes. The event was kindly sponsored by Phillips Autos of Banbury. Moreton Pinkney receive the league cup from Wardington Club President Lady Wardington. A highlight of the day was Lady Wardington (President of Wardington Bowls Club) presenting the 2013/14 Season League Cup to this year’s winners Morton Pinkney, who won one of the closest fought seasons in many years. Toddlers at Easter

Wardington Waddlers Toddler Group is closed Thursday 17th and 24th April for Easter, returning to normal on Thursday 1st May. Happy Easter everyone.

Neal’s Yard demo at Wardington Waddlers Toddler Group

Please join us on Thursday 27th March at the Wardington Waddlers Toddler Group for an introduction to organic health and beauty products from Neal's Yard. Emily Roberts, a Neal's Yard Independent Consultant, will be hosting the event. She can answer your questions and demonstrate the award winning products. Feel free to drop in even if you don't normally attend the group, you don't need a toddler to get in! We will be providing refreshments as usual, £2 donation requested. Thursday 27th March, 10am-12 noon at Wardington Memorial Hall.

Stella & Dot visit Wardington Waddlers

Wardington Waddlers Toddler Group welcome Stella & Dot, who provide fashion jewellery and fashion accessories. Grab gifts for friends and loved ones or treat yourself. Tea, coffee and cake provided. Thursday 14th March from 10am at Wardington Memorial Hall.

Wardington Village Cinema – Philomena – Saturday 5th April

The Wardington Village Cinema shows films for the community, so we thought it only right to give the community the opportunity to vote for the next film to be shown. Wardington Waddlers get ready for Christmas

This week at Waddlers, the children enjoyed more messy play, decorating their own Christmas trees, thanks to Hattie's grandma. Next week, Thursday 19th Devember, will be our last session prior to Christmas, so please join us for more Christmas activities and mince pies. We will be back after the Christmas break on 9th January 2014.

This week at Wardington Waddlers Toddler Group we had a slightly messy and sticky, but fun art activity run by Nikki and snack time (which always goes down well), including homemade banana bread...yummy!

Wardington Waddlers – Off to a great start!

The Wardington Waddlers toddler group got off to an excellent start on Thursday, with a fantastic turnout from both Wardington and surrounding villages. We hope everyone enjoyed it and will join us again next week. Please help spread the word as we need all of your support to keep running. We need volunteers to help with setting up/putting away and teas/coffees. It would be on a rota so not every week! If you can help, please let us know. We are also looking for kind donations of unwanted toys (especially some ride-on toys) in good condition. If you are able to help, then please email Hannah or Gemma.

Wardington Waddlers

The Toddler Group is starting back up on Thursday 17th October 2013 at 10am to 12 noon in Wardington Memorial Hall. The group is being run by Gemma Crossley and Hannah Gibbs and all are welcome. The cost is £2 per session and refreshments will be provided. Please email Gemma or Hannah for more information.
