With the latest screening at Wardington Village Cinema this Friday (8th December) we only have 6 people confirmed as attending! Robert Harwood will be rehearsing for the Remembrance Service on Sunday morning at the War Memorial tomorrow, Saturday, at 11am. If you are unable to attend the service or if you would like to hear the Last Post and Reveille at 11am on Remembrance Day itself, please do go to the churchyard by 10:50am tomorrow morning.

Harvest Supper Saturday 30th Sept. – Reminder to book tickets.

The 2017 Harvest Supper takes place on Saturday 30th September in Wardington Memorial Hall at 7:30pm. Tickets are selling well and we're looking forward to a really enjoyable evening. Please do come along and bring all the family - we welcome kids of all ages. In previous years the children have even had their own table making a memorable evening for them and a relaxing evening for their parents! Do join us for Cottage Pie followed by Harvest Desert Pie* and Cheese & Biscuits. All children are welcome. Buying wine from the bar supports your church. Cinema Celebration – Friday October 6th

To celebrate four successful years of screening films in the Memorial Hall, Wardington Village Cinema are putting on a special evening screening Viceroy's House on Friday 6th October at 7pm. Special ticket price includes the film and themed supper:  £6.50 for concessions and £8.50 standard. There will also be a raffle—donations of raffle prizes are gratefully accepted. Viceroy’s House in Delhi was the home of the British rulers of India. After 300 years, that rule was coming to an end. For 6 months in 1947, Lord Mountbatten, great grandson of Queen Victoria, assumed the post of the last Viceroy, charged with handing India back to its people.
