1940’s BBQ and Film Night

Wardington Village Cinema—End of Season Special Event! This end of season special event is to celebrate a third successful year of Wardington Village Cinema! Please join us at the Memorial Hall on Saturday 23rd July at 7pm to enjoy a 1940’s themed social night, with Barbecue and the newly released Film  - Dad’s Army based on the classic TV Comedy. Why not get into the spirit of the evening and dress to impress in 1940’s Fancy Dress (optional). The Lady in the Van – Only a few tickets left

This Saturday (March 19th) Wardington Village Cinema will be Screening "The Lady in the Van" - Alan Bennett's big screen comedic adaptation of his own iconic memoir, starring Dame Maggie Smith. There has been a lot of interest for this film, so if you plan to attend ensure you reserve a ticket without delay, by calling Paul Bimson (01295 758855) or Sam Young (01295 750871). Doors open at 7.15 pm at the Memorial Village Hall, the film will start promptly at 8.00 pm.  There will be a half time interval with free ice cream and a raffle (Raffle prize donations are gratefully accepted). Elf at Wardington Village Cinema this Friday 18th December – Doors open earlier than usual at 6.45pm

This is a reminder that we are screening Elf at Wardington Village Cinema this coming Friday (18th December). Please do join us for this wonderful festive family film for all ages, please note the earlier than usual start time (doors open 6.45 pm for a 7.30 pm) which it is hoped will encourage younger villagers to attend. Mulled wine and Mince Pies will be served prior to the start of the film, included in the ticket price of £7.50 (£5.50 concessions). Yes that's right - Wardington Village Cinema is showing another fantastic film! This time we are screening The recently released "Far from the Madding Crowd"  on Friday 16th October at 8pm. Wardington Village Cinema is starting again for a new season of films. This month we will be showing the comedy "The Second Best Marigold Hotel" which has an all-star cast including Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Bill Nighy, Dev Patel and Richard Gere! Check in again for more love and laughter for this heartwarming sequel to The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel!
