Wardington Village Cinema – Philomena – Saturday 5th April

The  Wardington Village Cinema shows films for the community, so we thought it only right to give the community the opportunity to vote for the next film to be shown.  We therefore gave out voting forms at the last film evening and the results are as follows: Film Choice Number of Votes Le Weekend 14 Philomena 15 Mrs Henderson Presents 9 Hence, we are pleased to announce that Philomena will be our next film and it will be screened on Saturday 5th April (please disregard the dates shown in the Warbler as these are incorrect). After the success of the first Wardington Village Cinema night in November, we are proud to present a second film night screening the Oscar winning ARGO! ARGO is an exciting and tense film, based on the true story of a CIA agent sent on a dangerous operation to rescue six Americans in Tehran during the U.S. hostage crisis in Iran in 1980.  It stars and is directed by Ben Affleck and won the best motion picture of the year Oscar in 2012.
