We have received reports locally of a van driving around the rural villages going door to door knocking and asking if the resident is selling puppies. Last seen in the village of Shutford yesterday. The male is described as white, 50yrs, greased back hair, smartly dressed jeans and top. The Van is a silver short wheel based, low roof transit van, reg. no. OU52 BBF. On the back of the van is a Monster Drink Logo.

Please alert neighbours and always beware of any cold callers to your home. Beware these individuals may have ulterior motives. Is you see anyone matching this description please telephone the police on 101 with information of location, time and direction of travel. Alternatively, telephone 999 for immediate police attention.

Mollington
Non – dwelling burglary – a garage has been broken into on the High St, Mollington. This happened sometime between Fri 23 & Wed 28 November. The owner is currently away so it is not known exactly what has been taken.

The second incident occurred at a farm in Mollington – one of the barns was entered and various tools taken. This occurred on Tue 27 Nov sometime between 9:00am & 4.30pm

Theft from vehicle – a green Mercedes Sprinter van was broken into sometime between 5.30pm Tues 27 Nov & 8:00am Wed 28 Nov. Entry was gained to the rear of the vehicle by making a hole between the door handle and lock. Two saws were taken.

Please alert neighbours and remain extra vigilant in and around your village. if you see anything suspicious or have anything report telephone police on 101 with information or 999 for immediate police response.
