Monday 2nd December saw Robert Harwood launch his autobiography entitled ”My Life in Service” at the Plough in Upper Wardington. Attended by Neil Gadsby, Chairman and Founder of The Katharine House Hospice and large numbers of villagers, the event was great fun and very well supported. Mr Gadsby gave a very warm speech of thanks to Robert and Robert replied with a very moving tribute to all who had helped in publishing the book.
Robert’s commitment and dedication to Wardington was clearly greatly appreciated by all who attended however his popularity within the community may well be dimmed once everyone reads what he’s written about them in the book!
Sorry Robert did not know about the launch until after the event .Would have been there if we had known. Please remember that we ordered a book. How can we collect it?
