On the 1st of June, our village came alive with the vibrant and joyous atmosphere of our Village Fete and Evening Celebration. The event was a resounding success, bringing together community members of all ages for a day filled with fun, laughter, and camaraderie.

The fete featured a delightful array of activities that catered to everyone’s tastes. Stalls lined the village cricket field, offering a variety of goods and treats and activities. The air was filled with the sweet melodies of live music, creating a festive ambiance. Families enjoyed the bouncy castles, while others indulged in delicious tea and cake or participated in games or races. The art exhibition showcased the incredible talent within our community, and the produce competition highlighted the best of our local growers and artists.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to making this event possible. From the dedicated volunteers who helped set up and run the stalls, to those who baked or participated in the competitions, and of course, to all who attended and supported the fete. Your enthusiasm and generosity are what make our village such a special place.

We are thrilled to announce that the event raised an impressive £5000 for charity. These funds will be distributed to three worthy causes: Dogs for Good, Banbury Young Homeless, and our very own Village Hall and Cricket Club charities. Your contributions will make a significant difference in the lives of many locally.
