Judging of the Best Dressed Owner and Pet will take place at 2:30pm tomorrow at the fete. Please do join in and have fun! Please contribute any toys, books and other bric-a-brac items - take to the Manor tomorrow morning. We look forward to a lovely afternoon at the Manor gardens tomorrow. Calling all bakers!

We need your cakes! Please bake cakes for the cake stall at the fête on Sunday.  Jacquelene Allan will be running the cake stall and she would love to see you on Sunday morning with cakes. She would also really appreciate it if you could send her an email to jacallanuk@aol.com to let her know that you're a baker. We need your produce! We also need as many as possible to enter the produce show. If you don't enter, you can't win a prize! The list of categories is here, so please do get involved.

Wardington Village Fête 2019

Please come to the Wardington Village Fête and Horticultural Show on Sunday 1st September in the Manor gardens between 2pm and 5pm. This year's fête is kindly sponsored by Mansion Hill Vets, Middleton Cheney, and will raise money for the Wardington Cricket Club, the Church Fabric Fund and Dogs for Good. The fête will be opened at 2pm by Mrs Evelyn Phillips. There will be Morris dancers, Pimms, BBQ, Cream teas, Tombola, Games and a Cake stall. Poppy Collection

I  am having to retire from the Poppy Collection and would like to hear from anyone willing to take over. The collection in Chacombe has been taken over by Middleton Cheney and so our area is now only Wardington and Williamscote. If we do not manage to find anyone then our collection will be taken over by Middleton Cheney. I am sure this would be as disappointing to you as it would be for me after 32 years as Local Organiser. I have the order forms for this year’s collection and would be: more than happy to assist with its completion, together with any other help required.  It is not a very demanding job, and very rewarding. Fairport 2019 Tickets – 3-day residents’ permits still available

Fairport Convention’s Cropredy Festival 8th – 10th August 2019 There are still a few three-day entrance permits available to the residents of Williamscot and Wardington for this year’s Fairport Convention. If you have not applied already, then please let me know by no later than Sunday 21st July if you require any tickets, and these will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Many thanks,      Emma. Three-day entrance permits will again be available for this years’ Festival at the special price of £40 each. As in previous years, tickets will be offered to every Williamscot resident in the first instance with surplus permits then allotted to the adult children of residents (if they grew up in Williamscot) and
