Reminder: Paddington 2 Screening this Friday (20th April)!
Just a quick reminder that we are screening Paddington 2 at the village hall this Friday night (20th April), doors open at 7.15pm, film starts at 8pm. We are a little short on numbers, so please come along if you can - you can pay on the door but it'll help us greatly if you let us know before if you are planning to attend. You are welcome to bring your own food and drink to enjoy during the film, but we also provide a free ice cream in the half time interval, when we also draw a raffle (contributions to the raffle are greatly appreciated). Diesel spill
There has been a red diesel spill into the stream running through the village. There is a strong smell the entire length of the stream and a film of diesel covering the water. We have been advised by the Environment Agency to keep all animals clear and they are currently investigating the source of the spill. This is a very serious matter and it particularly affects livestock and pets. If any residents have any knowledge of how to best clean up the mess, please can they contact any member of the Parish Council.

Fourth Cinema Season Celebration
It's not too late to book your place at this Friday's village cinema performance. We are celebrating a fourth year of screening films to the village at the memorial hall, and will be doing so with a colonial style themed social evening. The evening will start earlier than usual at 7pm to allow time to enjoy a Raj style buffet spread, followed by the film "Viceroy's House".
