Minutes of the Wardington Parish Council Meeting Location:  Wardington Memorial Hall Date: Tuesday, 14th February, 2017 (7:30pm)   In Attendance: Mr G Page (Chairman), Mr I Franklin, Mr B Jarrett (Clerk) Parishioners: Mr M Page, Mr J Baker, Mrs A Baker, Mrs T Barrett. This winter Wardington Church is supporting the Banbury Foodbank. There is now a box marked Foodbank just inside the main door of the Church. Please bring donations to this box which will then be regularly delivered to the Foodbank. Currently urgently needed food is: Tinned Fruit (400 gm) Tea Bags (80's) Dried Pasta (500 gm) UHT Milk (1 ltr) Breakfast Cereals Currently the Foodbank has plenty of: Beans Sugar NB No fresh food, only packaged food please. The Phoenix Pub 2016 Limited Company has been set-up by a group of Wardington residents on behalf of the community, in compliance with the requirements of the Assets of Community Value (England) Regulations 2012, to investigate the feasibility of preparing a business case to potentially acquire the Plough Public House. Residents are welcome to come forward if they have an interest in securing the future of a pub for Upper Wardington and we will ensure you are kept up to date with the latest progress.
