Letter from Tony Baldry MP re. Chacombe to Wardington road

Knowing of your interest in the work on the A361, I thought you might like to see a copy of the reply I have received from Oxfordshire County Council following a letter I wrote to the Chief Executive regarding the Chacombe to Wardington Road.

Best wishes,

Tony Baldry

What would be really interesting is to read an honest acknowledgement from Northamptonshire and the Environment Agency as to exactly what has happened.
The idea of “fire fighting” is a joke. The filling in of potholes has been quite inadequate and way too late. Even now weeks and weeks into the A361 closure concerns for safety and avoidance of damage to cars has not been mitigated.

I did enjoy Mr Harwood’s letter in the local paper recently.Thankyou Robert. There is an untold story there. The road works certainly took an awful long time to complete. Will the full facts be released in 100 years?
