ACV Nomination for the Pond – Decision Notice

Asset of Community Value Nomination - Decision Notice The Pond, Thorpe Road, Upper Wardington, Banbury Oxfordshire. (ACV035) We have been advised by Cherwell District Council that the nomination of the pond for ACV status has been unsuccessful. Decision Notice attached. acv_pond_decision  In addition we have received a letter from Mr George Page stating that he will no longer be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the pond. gp_pond_disclaimer Mr Page, who had maintained the upkeep of the Pond for the last twenty years plus, wanted it made known that as from the 1st September 2016 he has relinquished all upkeep and maintenance of the Pond. He is still waiting for his solicitor to clarify any on-going liability. As the WPC

Wardington Parish Council – Audit for Year ended 31/03/2016

External Audit of  the Wardington Parish Council Accounts The Audit has now been completed. There were no matters which required the issuing of a separate additional issues arising report. Harvest Supper 2016 – An evening for all the family.

The Friends of St. Mary Magdalene are pleased to once again be organising the Harvest Supper. On Saturday 1st October 2016 At 7:30pm In the Memorial Hall Cottage Pie followed by Apple Pie and Cheese & Biscuits Cash bar and raffle All proceeds to St. Mary Magdalene Children of all ages are welcome! Corkage charge £10/bottle if you bring your own wine. Tickets £10 adults, £7 children and OAP's. Wardington Village Cinema - New Season The new season of films start again on Friday September 16th when Wardington Village Cinema will screen Eddie The Eagle. A comedy sports drama directed by Dexter Fletcher and inspired by the true life story of Michael Edwards or 'Eddie the Eagle', Britain's most famous ski jumper.
