Notice of Chipping Warden A361 road closure UPDATE We have been informed of future weekend closures of the A361 at Chipping Warden during September and October 2020. Closure Dates: Friday 20:00hrs to Monday 06:00hrs: 11th to 14th September 2020 18th to 21st September 2020 25th to 28th September 2020 16th to 19th October 2020 23rd to 26th October 2020 The planned schedule of the works being undertaken during the weekend closures. The attached notice describes some of the early works they are planning to the tunnel. In addition to this they are in the process of seeking consents for lorry routes and their traffic plans. HS2 Fusion: Archaeology update talk You are invited to join a virtual HS2 archaeology update for the Chipping Warden/Aston Le Walls and surrounding area. During this talk we’ll be explaining the archaeological processes we are undertaking and what exciting discoveries we have made so far. Some of these discoveries may include prehistoric burial sites so the presentation may contain skeleton human remains. We will give prior warning if these are shown.
