'The Greatest Showman’ Wardington Village Cinema On Saturday 8th December 2018 At Wardington Memorial Hall Doors open at 7.15pm, for a start at 8pm The Greatest Showman is an original American musical film directed by Michael Gracey in his directorial debut, written by Jenny Bicks and Bill Condon and starring Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron, Michelle Williams, Rebecca Ferguson and Zendaya. It is inspired by the imagination of P. T. Barnum and celebrates the birth of show business and tells of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation. The film won The Golden Globe Award for best original song ’This is me’ written and composed by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. Please inform

The Wardington Swifts: An Illustrated Talk on Swifts by Chris Mason

  Wardington Garden Club The Wardington Swifts: An Illustrated Talk on Swifts by Chris Mason Wednesday November 21 at 7.45pm Wardington Memorial Hall We are very lucky to have a thriving small colony of Swifts in Wardington.  Through good years and bad their numbers have been slowly increasing. Nationally they are threatened. Chris Mason is the Oxfordshire authority on these magnificent small birds.  Come and join us, everyone is welcome. Wine and soft drinks provided. There will be a small charge of £3 for non-Garden Club member.
