New vicar appointed

Hello! I’m delighted to introduce myself prior to my licensing on Wednesday 6th September as the next Vicar of The Shires Edge Benefice . I’m Sarah, and in my 23rd year of ordained ministry, mother of two fabulous young people, (a bookworm and a rower) and wife to Nick, a plant scientist and wonderfully supportive husband. As a family we enjoy listening to music, watching films, and eating together. I grew up in Kent (one of 5 siblings), and have rural village life in my DNA. Carols on the Green, Wed 21st Dec at 6pm

This year's Carols on the Green is from 6pm to 6:45pm on Wednesday 21st December on the green in Upper Wardington. We will be accompanied by the Wardington Hand Bell Ringers as usual. Mulled wine and mince pies will be served. We will be collecting for the Friends of St Mary Magdalene - please bring some cash and give generously. The mulled wine and mince pies are free, however we greatly appreciate a donation of at least £1.50 each. The event will last for 45 minutes.
