A fantastic £656 raised at the Quiz evening

Thank you to everyone who supported the Quiz and Fish & Chips evening on Friday 26th April. It was a sell-out and everyone had a really enjoyable evening, with some great competition between the teams. Congratulation to "The Numptys" who won the prize of six bottles of rosé. The evening raised £656 which goes into the Fabric Fund of St Mary Magdalene, Wardington, our Grade I listed church, to help towards the upkeep of this wonderful building. The next Friends event will be the Safari Supper on Friday 21st June. Further details will follow soon!

Wardington video

For those who haven't yet seen "The Cotswold Explorer" video featuring Wardington and Williamscot, as well as Cropredy and beyond, you can see it by clicking to play below. With just a couple of factual inaccuracies (maybe they looked up The Plough in Warmington?), it's a very informative tour around our home, including a reminder of how very old the church is.
