2018 NEWS FROM CROPREDY TENNIS CLUB – EVERYONE’S GAME

Club Nights 6.00pm. Mondays (all members) and Wednesdays (Ladies only). Non members are welcome to attend their first club night as a free “taster” session. Junior coaching Fridays 4.15 to 5.15 For the summer term. Coaching from Banbury Tennis Academy at the tennis courts Starts 20 April. Discounted fee for club members. Contact Simon Bright for more information. Adult coaching sessions. Monday club nights 7 May, 4 June, 2 July. Free for members. £5.00 for non members, refundable if they become members. Spring Clean 2018 – Saturday 7th April

The annual Wardington Spring Clean will take place on 7th April 2018, though the equipment will be available from Easter Monday at Barn Farm plants. Filled refuse sacks and equipment should be returned to Barn Farm Plants no later than Monday 9th April. Any questions should be directed to Lexi Gordon-Finlayson on 01295 758117.

Paddington 2 showing at Wardington Village Cinema

On Friday 20th April Wardington Village Cinema will be screening Paddington 2. Wardington Garden Club – AGM

         WARDINGTON GARDEN CLUB      AGM 2018 The Club visits gardens and other places of interest locally through the summer. We take part in the Fete at The Manor and have a visiting speaker in November. Our members represent all sizes and types of garden. Some are keen gardeners. Some just enjoy    looking at gardens. Some just like spending an evening with local friends. Wardington Village Cinema to go ahead on Friday!

Thank you to everyone who has let us know they will be attending the cinema event on Friday (9th Feb).  We now have 24 people confirmed to attend, which should ensure we cover the costs of the hire of the equipment and the licence. So we will continue with screening Victoria & Abdul as originally planned. But it is still not too late to let us know if you plan to attend so we can ensure we purchase enough ice-creams for the half time interval. We look forward to seeing you.
