MP Launches new Campaign for the Horton Hospital

Victoria Prentis MP  has launched a new campaign to protect services at the Horton General Hospital. An e-mail received by our District Councillor Ken Atack  reads:- Subject: #Banbury2JR campaign Dear Ken, I hope you had a lovely Christmas and a very happy New Year! As part of our fight to protect services at the Horton General Hospital, I have launched the campaign, #Banbury2JR. The campaign will encourage people in and around Banbury to fill out a form (attached) about journey times to the JR in Oxford, and post their travel times on social media using the hash tag #Banbury2JR. (24th May, 2016) Approved and signed. 2.    Matters arising from previous minutes. 2.1 HS2 Update Mr Page reported that there were some discussions taking place between various local groups and HS2 about the possibility of lowering the track in the Upper Boddington section. This would reduce the amount of spoil to be moved through Wardington. Apparently HS2 are showing little interest.

COUNCILLOR VACANCIES

NOTICE OF PARISH COUNCILLOR VACANCY   There are two vacancies on Wardington Parish Council and these positions will be filled by co-option at the parish council meeting on Tuesday, 21st June 2015 (7:30pm) at Wardington Memorial Hall. Should more than one application be received for each vacancy, councillors will decide the appointment by a vote, or series of votes, in order to obtain a majority decision. To be considered for co-option, applicants must be at least 18 years old and meet at least one of the following criteria:   Be registered as a Local Government Elector for Wardington Parish on the current Electoral Register. Has during the whole of the previous 12 months occupied as tenant or owner any land
