I have attached the notice explaining the work, please feel free to share it. The 'HS2 updates' emails for those that subscribe, are not available for a few days while HS2 make some technical improvements. Notice of extended hours working, Chipping Warden March 2024 The tunneling team have approval from the local authority to work between 6am - 10pm each day. Note that this is mainly for tunnel installation activities and not for all of our general construction work. There will be some lighting and vehicle movements both in the compound

Update on the Culworth Road closure, Chipping Warden Message from EKFB working on behalf of HS2 As you may be aware, we have Culworth Road in Chipping Warden closed at the moment, which was due to re-open on 31 March. We had intended to get the road open before the Easter weekend, but this has not been possible. We require the road to remain closed for vehicles, until the middle / end of next week. Apologies for this. We have, however, opened part of our closure to allow for pedestrian access. Walkers will find that the barriers have been repositioned slightly, to allow pedestrians through, but keep the main highway blocked for vehicle traffic. Please take care when walking along

While much of the work was completed, some tasks were not possible. We will be working again this weekend, requiring a closure on Friday 16 February and Saturday 17 February, from 8.30pm to 5.30am. Night time weekend closure of the A361 for bridge maintenance -February 2024

Message from EKFB in behalf of HS2 In early February we will be carrying out maintenance on the temporary bridge that crosses the A361 near Chipping Warden. Due to the effects of the winter weather, this work needs to be carried out as a priority. Message from EKFB on behalf of HS2 Traffic management on the A361 near Chipping Warden 22-26 January 2024 The week (22-26 January 2024) we will be carrying out utility survey work on the A361 near Chipping Warden. It will require a lane closure of the A361, controlled by 3-way traffic lights. We will need to excavate sections of the highway to inspect utilities located under the road, and therefore a lane closure and traffic lights may be required 24 hours a day while we carry out the work. HS2 – Wardington Update – Changes

HS2 - Wardington Traffic Update - Changes In the recent update the diversion route for the Wardington Road closures showed the wrong route on the PDF that was circulated. Apologies, as you know already, there is no access through the Edgcote Estate to Chipping Warden. The correct diversion is through Wardington and I have amended our maps. Our construction traffic will not be using this route through Wardington, it is purely a diversion route for members of the public who aren’t familiar with the area. I have attached an amended version of the 'lookahead' presentation to this email with the map change. The 1 day Wardington Road closure planned for 15 January has been cancelled. Traffic management (traffic light area) on the A361 during August Message from EKFB on behalf of HS2 We will soon start to prepare the verges of the A361 for the highway realignment, over the Chipping Warden Green Tunnel. This is first phase is early preparatory work, with the new section of highway being constructed during spring and summer 2024.
