With the overall aim of keeping everyone in the village in touch with each other at this difficult time and providing assistance to each other if or when required, the village has been divided up into twenty-one separate groups of houses with a contact person for each group. At the end of this post there are four maps showing all the house groups both numbered and colour coded. Also there is a list of all the group contacts. Hilary Patterson is the Central Co-ordinator and her contact details are shown at the top of the list Each group contact has a supply of this self-explanatory flyer . Hello everyone, An update on church services: The Church of England has confirmed that public worship is to stop for the time being. Our usual pattern of Sunday services and other mid-week gatherings must be put on hold. There will be changes to the way we can gather as church. We will seek to make the buildings accessible for prayer and reflection. There will be arrangements for weddings and funerals. For those who would find it helpful, we will provide prayer and reflection resources that can be used at home. We will investigate other ways of sharing times of worship. There is an invitation for this Sunday, which is Mothering Sunday, to make this a moment of coming together. We

Note: The drop-in scheduled for Wednesday, 18th March 2020 is cancelled. A361 - Chipping Warden road closure 28 Feb - 1 Mar cancelled HS2 have advised us that, Fusion were planning to close the A361 in Chipping Warden for this weekend to carry out some works. HS2 - Roadworks in the Chipping Warden area Fusion working on behalf of HS2 recently gave a presentation in Chipping Warden, in respect to roadworks in the Chipping Warden area. The information slides, in the link below, include the roadworks through Wardington and details of full road closures. These closures, when they occur, can affect people's travel and some bus services. Chipping warden presentation 120220 Fusion will resume their bi-weekly Drop-in events at the Hare and Hounds starting Wednesday 4th March 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
