Elderly Targeted by Fake Police Officers

There has been a recent series of incidents whereby fraudsters either phone or attend the home address of elderly members of the public, claiming to be police officers. The fake officer/s will claim that they are investigating a fraud which they believe the elderly person to be a victim of. The fake officer/s will then request the bank cards and personal identification numbers (PIN) of the victim and claim these are needed for investigation purposes. If the first contact was made by a phone call, the fake officer/s will tell the victim that someone will be over to collect the evidence. Christmas Charity Evening To be held at Barn Farm Plants Garden Centre on Wednesday 25th November. 6.30pm-8.30pm. Entry £2 (16's and under FREE). Wardington Village Cinema Presents Mr Holmes

Another new release film will be screening at the Wardington Village Cinema this November!! This is a Tom cat who has taken up residence outside the back door of Sundial House, Upper Wardington. Pam Jones(Forbes) says: "He is a very friendly old Tom, but he is scaring our resident cat, who is spending much of his time cowering indoors or insisting on exiting the house via the front door to avoid the sentry by the back door! "We don't know where he has come from, but we have seen him from time to time over the past year or so. "If we cannot re-home him or find his original owner we will probably have to take him to a Rescue centre and hope that he finds a new family. Thanks in anticipation." If you
