The Wardington Village Fete will be held in the Manor gardens on 14th June between 2 and 5pm. Following a recent review of the mobile library service, Oxfordshire County Council have identified that they can better serve the needs of people who find it difficult to get to library buildings by joining up our mobile services and providing better stopping places with longer stops. The new routes and timetables will be introduced on Monday 6th July 2015. The mobile library will stop in Wardington at: The Old School on 10:00 on Wednesday 15th July (departing 10:20) and then every two weeks henceforth

The Theory of Everything is the story of the most brilliant physicist of our time, Stephen Hawking, and Jane Wilde the arts student he fell in love with whilst studying at Cambridge in the 1960s. Spring Litter Picking in the Village Can you help? A small group has volunteered to litter pick again this year. We almost have the village covered but two of our stalwarts (Patricia & Greg Peters ) have moved away. They covered Upper Wardington from the Plough onwards. Amanda Pascoe will do what she can but needs some support. It doesn’t take long. A lot can be achieved in an hour or so. It can be done anytime to suit you in the first week in May. Wardington Village cinema are screening the '100 Foot Journey' this Friday evening in the Memorial Hall. Doors open 7.30pm, film commences at 8pm. The Kadam family leaves India for France where they open a restaurant directly across the road from Madame Mallory's Michelin-starred eatery - comedy starring Helen Mirren, Om Puri and Manesh Dayal. Following on from the great success of the last Wardington Village Cinema night (a record of 68 attendees - Thanks to everyone for your support!) we are proud to announce the next screening will be of "The Hundred-Foot Journey". Doors open at 7.3o pm on Friday 17th April, for the film to start at 8.00 pm.
